What I meant by the five minutes is that my brain works too fast and in no way am I bragging. I just happen to have a problem solving mindset that I actually can’t even stop it if I wanted to. It’s a good and bad situation, depending on how you look at it. My point is this; within five minutes of looking at what you’re doing with your company for your marketing I am able to clearly see 10 reasons why things may not be working for you in today’s fast paced digital age.

Why is this? True confessions: I am a geek! I spend too much time, studying, learning, reviewing, researching, testing, scouring the internet for information, talking to other marketers, other business owners. My brain is a sponge and I can’t stop! I have all this information swimming around in my head, thinking that everyone else has the same information and knows what I know. When I look around, I’m starting to see a pattern. Business owners are confused, they are spending time/money in the wrong areas of marketing. It makes me want to pull out my hair and scream… “oh no, don’t do that, that is old school marketing, it worked years ago, it doesn’t work anymore!”

I’ve been compiling a list of ideas forever now and I think it’s time I start teaching and helping companies see the power and value of this knowledge. In the meantime, check out my info graphic on rank determination and what Google Wants. I created this, as a visual to show you how complicated things are and why your site may not be ranking on the web like you’d like it to. Soon I will share what you can do about it! In the meantime contact me if you have questions or comments. Click here for Infographic on What Google Wants. Feel free to share.

We recommend a content calendar.
When you plan your content, it’s important that you are very clear on what and when you decide your schedule. We hear the question a lot; “what exactly should we be posting?” This is a big challenge for businesses. This is where the editorial calendar comes in to play, it is your road map. Every day should not be a guessing game about what you need to write about, you generally do not want a blank page staring at you. It should all be planned out in advance for the most part. This is not to say that things come up and you need to address them, communicate with your customers/prospects. Your content calendar presents you with a nice overview, which inturn will make sure you cover the topics and products you want discussed. It also ensures you are not repeating yourself as well as making sure you stay with what’s most important. The last thing you want to do is post content just to fill a blank space. Consider a few different content calendars, one being the overview, the other being special events to showcase during the year. Consider the other one a weekly calendar, which gives structure and your exact daily content to post, such as information from other sites of interest, they may include videos, photos, how to information. As you develop your content calendar, your community will learn your patterns and look forward to your upcoming events.

Let’s Review Webfire!

To see the most recent video on Webfire Review, go here.

Brilliant software! At Reach Up Marketing, we are all about efficiency, performance and results. What better way to achieve this than a system with a dashboard where you can perform everything in once place. I’ve personally followed Brian Koz for years, he comes up with clever ways with software to generate leads and build businesses. The reason I’m saying this one is a winner is because of it’s affordability, ease of use and access to support and training. We have implemented just a few of the strategies he has recommended in one of the recorded webinars, and within days, we were seeing results.

I just made a video (click on green arrow above) to show you an insider’s view of the system. There is nothing to download, the system basically is a dashboard access to everything you need for online marketing and ranking your website. This is invaluable if you are looking to rank your website. It’s an all-in-one place for you to manage things like keywords, video uploading, article submission, RSS feeds, social bookmarking, forum commenting. Those are just a few, there are over 20 tools in this dashboard. Each tool is directly tied to software that helps you to perform tasks that in normal circumstances could take so much more time, hours, weeks, days. In today’s fast society, businesses online want results and they want ease of learning and understanding things like why their site is not ranking and what can they do about it. Not everyone wants to pay top dollar for SEO services. Webfire solves a problem that has been going on now for several years. The price is very reasonable and it’s not loaded with typical upsells that so many programs have today. You can save by purchasing it on the annual level, or you can purchase monthly. We felt the value of purchasing it one time annually, far outweighed the monthly cost and had a greater savings.

I will be creating more videos showing insider look at Webfire and its capabilities. If you know the value of saving time in your marketing strategies, this is for you. If you also struggle with information overload or do not feel as if you are technically savvy, this is also for you. It is very easy to use and saves you so much time because it’s all in once place. Please feel free to comment or contact me if you have any questions.
